Account Deletion
How to delete your Tattoo Japan account and what happens to your data. The account you use in the Tattoo Japan Studio app (Android and iOS) is this same Tattoo Japan account.

Delete on the website
In a browser on your computer or phone, follow these steps.
Sign in to Tattoo Japan
Open tattoo-ja.com and sign in with the Google account or email address you registered with.
Open My Page
Tap your profile icon in the navigation, or open the menu and choose My Page.
Press “Delete account”
Scroll to the very bottom of My Page. In the “Delete account” section, press the “Delete account” button.
Review the notes and press “Delete”
Read the notes that appear, then press “Delete”. Your account is deleted and you are signed out automatically.

Delete from the Tattoo Japan Studio app
In the app (Android and iOS), you delete your account by opening your Tattoo Japan My Page in the browser. The app's screens are in Japanese.
Open the app menu
In the Tattoo Japan Studio app, open the menu (sidebar).
Tap your name at the bottom of the menu
It's the item showing your name and “マイページへ” (Go to My Page).

If you're asked to sign in, use the same Google account or email address as in the app.
Press “Delete account”, then “Delete”
At the bottom of My Page, press “Delete account” in the “Delete account” section, review the notes, and press “Delete” (the same as steps 3 and 4 on the website).
Before you delete
If any of the following applies to you, take care of it first.
You have a Tattoo Japan Studio plan
While you have a plan (including during a free trial or while a payment is overdue), you can't delete your account. First, open Tattoo Japan Studio (studio.tattoo-ja.com)(Opens in a new tab) in a browser and cancel under 設定 (Settings) → 契約情報 (Contract details) → プランを解約する (Cancel plan). Plans can't be canceled in the app.
Once you've canceled, you can delete your account right away; there's no need to wait for the billing period to end. Note that after deletion you can no longer use Tattoo Japan Studio, even if time remains in the billing period.
You're registered as a studio member
While you're registered as a studio member in Tattoo Japan Studio, you can't delete your account. Ask the studio owner to remove (deactivate) you as a member first.
You don't want your reviews or bookmarks kept
Reviews, bookmarks, facility information you added or edited, and images you posted remain after deletion as posts from a private account. If you don't want them kept, delete your reviews, remove your bookmarks, and so on before deleting your account.
If you can't sign in
If you can't sign in (for example, you can't access your Google account or the verification code email doesn't arrive), email support@tattoo-ja.com from your registered email address with the subject “Account deletion request”. After confirming your identity, we will delete your account.
If you're not sure why the “Delete account” button can't be pressed, contact the same address.

- Profile (nickname, username, bio, social media accounts, etc.)
- Personal information (name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, address and area of residence, etc.)
- Profile icon
- Sign-in information (linked Google account and email sign-in)
- Specialty styles and affiliated studios registered as a tattoo artist
Kept
- Reviews, bookmarks, facility information you added or edited, and images you postedThey remain as posts from a private account, and your name and icon are not shown.
Data you registered in Tattoo Japan Studio (customer information, appointments, client records, etc.) is deleted within 90 days of account deletion, except where retention is required by law. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
A deleted account can't be restored. If you sign up again with the same email address, you'll start as a new account (your previous profile won't come back).
