In Chiba Prefecture, multiple municipalities (Tateyama, Minamiboso, Katsuura, Onjuku, etc.) prohibit visible tattoos at beaches by ordinance, and similar operations are widely applied to other beaches in the prefecture. Bathing is permitted if covered with a T-shirt or rash guard. On-site or municipal confirmation is recommended for specifics.

From JR Inage Sta. (west exit, platform 2), take Kaihin Kotsu bus (bound for Kaihin Park Pool) and get off at "Hana no Bijutsukan" then walk about 5 min, or take the bus bound for Takahama Shako and get off at the terminus. From JR Inage-Kaigan Sta. (south exit, platform 2), take the bus bound for "Kaihin Park Iriguchi" to the terminus, then walk about 5 min.

Paid: cars 300 yen for first 3 h (then 100 yen/h, max 600 yen/day); 600 yen/visit during pool season. Large buses 2,000 yen.

Free admission. Japan’s first man-made beach.
