Public beach managed by a Miyazaki municipality (including Aoshima, Sun Beach Hitotsuba, and Hyuga's surf spots). No tattoo prohibition ordinance or prefectural guideline has been confirmed for beaches in Miyazaki. Generally tolerant as a surfing tourism destination, with cultural similarities to Kyushu island regions.
