Public beach managed by a Nagasaki municipality (centered on Goto, Iki, Tsushima, and Hirado islands). No tattoo prohibition ordinance or prefectural guideline has been confirmed for beaches in Nagasaki Prefecture. Generally tolerant as remote-island tourist destinations.

About 25-min drive from Sasebo-Chuo IC on the Nishi-Kyushu Expressway; about 50 min by Saihi Bus (bound for Tawaragaura) from JR Sasebo Station; get off at "Tawaraura-yubinkyoku-mae," then 15-min walk. Some buses are rerouted to "Shirahama Kaisuiyokujo" during the beach season.
