Public beach managed by a Fukuoka municipality (Itoshima, Fukutsu, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka City, Ashiya, etc.). No tattoo prohibition ordinance or prefectural guideline has been confirmed for beaches in Fukuoka. Generally tolerant as Kyushu tourism destinations including Itoshima and Nokonoshima.

About 10 min by Nishitetsu Bus from JR Fukuma Sta. on the Kagoshima Main Line, get off at "Miyajihama 2-chome" then walk about 5 min. About 1.3 km / 15 min walk from Miyajidake Shrine.

Free 40 spaces + paid approx. 70 spaces (open only weekends/holidays July 13 – Aug 12, 500 yen/visit).

Free admission. Gently shelving with clear water; surf shops nearby.
