Hoshino Resorts Official Accommodation Terms (effective April 1, 2026): "We respect each guest's cultural background and values, and do not restrict use by guests with tattoos." ● Guest-only large baths, hot springs, and pools: no restrictions. ● Facilities also open to non-staying visitors (e.g., day-use bathing): permitted on condition that the tattoo can be fully covered by eight 8cm × 10cm cover seals, and that cover seals or a cover garment are worn. However, if the facility determines that the tattoo may cause concern to other guests, use of the large bath may be declined.
