Listed in the Tattoo-Friendly Hot Springs feature on Visit Oita, the official tourism website of the Oita Prefectural Tourism Association, as a facility where guests with tattoos may use only the family baths; the large public baths are not available to them. The facility's own website does not mention tattoos. The family baths (Okunoin) ask that groups of men refrain from using them. (Checked on November 4, 2026.)
