About this studio
My name is Hachi, owner and main artist of ARTEMIS. Born in Lyon (France) in 1987. I started studying Japanese in high school and specialized in Japanese language/Japanese culture at university. I came to Japan as an international student for the first time when I was a junior in college. After that, I went back to my country and came back to Japan again in 2011. There I met my former master and started learning tattooing. I became a tattoo artist and worked at two tattoo studios before opening my own business, ARTEMIS, in 2017. I have been interested in art since I was a child, regardless of genre, and I have also studied a bit of Japanese calligraphy. I am good at tattooing anime-style tattoos that mix Japanese and foreign impressions, colorful tattoos, and tattoos that are mainly black. I also love geometric and thin detailed designs. ARTEMIS aims to create a comfortable space with a sense of hospitality for everyone.
