Public beach managed by a Kagoshima municipality (including Amami, Tanegashima, Yakushima, and Satsuma Peninsula). No tattoo prohibition ordinance or prefectural guideline has been confirmed for beaches in Kagoshima Prefecture. The Amami Islands historically had a traditional tattoo culture called "Hajichi". Generally tolerant.

About 20 min by car from Nishinoomote Port. About 45 min by car from Tanegashima Airport. A summer "swimsuit bus" runs from Nishinoomote Port.

Parking available (free). Daytime use only in summer.
