Public beach managed by a Kagoshima municipality (including Amami, Tanegashima, Yakushima, and Satsuma Peninsula). No tattoo prohibition ordinance or prefectural guideline has been confirmed for beaches in Kagoshima Prefecture. The Amami Islands historically had a traditional tattoo culture called "Hajichi". Generally tolerant.
